PHriends is a young professionals group based in Cleveland, Ohio that is committed to supporting The Providence House. PHriends raises awareness and financial contributions for The Providence House, a non-profit, by helping to improve the community through funding crisis nurseries and emergency shelters. This young professional group embodies their statement “Where Passion Meets Action.” PHriends provides young professionals with networking and leadership opportunities all while making a positive impact. Array created a new logo, revised positioning, and developed a newmark to celebrate their ten year anniversary.
The objective behind this new logo was to create a color identity which differentiated PHriends from their parent organization The Providence House. Navy was chosen to compliment the pink, adding a more gender neutral color to the logo. By modernizing the PHriends logo, Array was able to add aspects to the design that reflected the goals and values of PHriends and also incorporated details from The Providence House mark. This can be seen in the hexagonal design where birds are working as a cohesive group which speaks to the work of PHriends. The logo was revealed at their biggest fundraising event of the year, Party With PHriends.
Array created both a brand guide and identity suite to direct PHriends on optimal ways to use their new look. Stationary like letterheads, business cards, and envelopes unify the brand and emphasize the level of professionalism that this group embodies. Array also created options for branded swag like buttons, coasters, and stickers.
